After a pilgrimage through the memories of different territories, I returned to the motherland and asked the territory: What can I do for you?
I wish to love my 34 supporting life with a gift to share and inspire others. This is a crowdfunding for my birthday: Your contribution will support my first photography exhibition and the manifestation of my first book: “Houses and Jungles”a collection of memories and messages of a pilgrimage in the wild feminine.
I plan to finish the Book and the exhibition in this second half of 2025 in Cundinamarca - Colombia. This project is part of my life-project FORCES: We are an itinerant space for research and experimentation of the ancient conversation between the human-nature and the cosmic forces. We explore the relations of body-community-territory in the form of workshops, laboratories, performances, and artist residencies in collaboration with specific sites and more-than-human communities.
Our processes are interested in the biodiversity of knowledge, focusing on dance improvisation, poetic thought, ecosomatics, ecological philosophy, visual arts, and performance.

About me:
Geraldin Acevedo
I create immersive collective experiences and visual art that explore ancestral experiences and connections between people and the environment. Through dance and living arts, I am interested in cultivating sensibilities based on reciprocity and interdependence to strengthen cultures of giving that value vitality and inspire us to live in reverence and symbiosis with life.
